This young lady was turning 50 and as a gift to herself decided to see Top Toronto Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Marc DuPéré for a upper eyelid or blepharoplasty surgery. Her eyes are very deep set and she was concerned that the skin overhanging onto her upper lids made her look tired.
During her consultation, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Marc DuPéré explained what realistic improvements that she could expect and what risks are associated with a blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery. Dr. DuPéré suggested that in future, to consider fat grafting or fillers under the eyebrows to replace fat loss due to aging which would enhance the eyes further. The patient decided to proceed with the upper eyelid surgery.
Two weeks after her eyelid surgery with Dr. DuPéré, the patient was extremely happy with the results of the upper eyelid or blepharoplasty procedure. She no longer has the excess hanging over her upper lids and her eyes look rested and youthful.
