What are my skin’s “instants”?
Many will tell you your skin is “dry”, your skin is “oily”, your skin is “sensitive”, your skin is “mixed”… but have you ever had your skin’s “instants” evaluated? Meaning, how your skin is today? You should also know that your forehead may not have the same “instant” as your nose, chin, eyelids, and so on… Instants are also likely to change over time, with the seasons, with the nutrition, medications, etc.
What does the Skin Instant Lab measure?
The Skin Instant Lab utilizes 5 measurement probes that are connected to a computer equipped with an exclusive diagnosis and analysis software developed by Biologique Recherche, France. These probes measure the skin’s:
- Moisture level
- Trans-epidermal water loss
- Pigmentation
- Elasticity
- Sebum level

How does this analysis benefit me?
The probes give both you and your provider a visual report of the current condition of your skin. Based on this dermo-cosmetic analysis and documented measurements, we will be able to help you better understand what your skin’s deficiencies are and what treatments and products (such as those discussed here) would be best suited to improve your skin’s condition. From first-hand experience, I can tell you that this kind of skin analysis made me feel more actively involved in my skincare treatment and home care choices.
We can also check your skin periodically to see if the recommended treatments and products are improving your skin and/or if a change of plan is required.
