Female Sexual Satisfaction

Countless women experience some sort of sexual dissatisfaction, yet few discuss their concerns with their physician. In addition to his well sought-after labiaplasty, monsplasty and vaginoplasty procedures, Dr. Marc DuPéré offers several minimally invasive treatments in Toronto– diVa, diVaTyte – and the G-Shot® and the O-Shot®–specifically created to improve female sexual satisfaction.

The skill level of the practitioner performing your treatments will affect your results. Choose a Royal College-certified plastic surgeon for your G-Shot or O-Shot. Request a consultation with Dr. DuPéré, or call our office at (416) 929-9800(416) 929-9800

The "Grafenburg-spot", often called the G-spot, is a 1- to 2-inch area on the front wall of the vagina that can produce vaginal orgasms when stimulated. The G-Shot, also called G-spot amplification, involves injecting a hyaluronic acid filler such as JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA, VOLIFT or Restylane into the G-spot. The filler temporarily enlarges the G-spot to enhance sexual gratification. After treatment, the G-spot becomes easier to locate, palpate and touch (digital and penile) during sexual, thus easier to stimulate.

Candidates for the G-Shot

You may be a good candidate for the G-Shot if you:

  • Have difficulty becoming aroused
  • Rarely can achieve orgasm
  • Want to have vaginal orgasms

How It Works

Dr. DuPéré performs G-spot amplification with the assistance of a female nurse. After administering topical and local anesthetic, he inserts a speculum into the vagina and carefully injects the filler into the G-spot region. Patients typically feel little to no discomfort during the treatment. After the injections, a tampon is inserted into the vagina. A hygienic pad can also be used. Patients can return to normal daily activities immediately. The treatment takes less than 30 minutes, so patients often come in during their lunch breaks or between errands.

The patient should wait 4 hours before removing the tampon and engaging in sexual activity. Some patients experience slight soreness or temporary bleeding at the injection site, but these symptoms will quickly resolve.

The effects of the G-Shot typically last several months. Eventually, the filler is absorbed by the body. At that point, we recommend that patients come in for a follow-up treatment to maintain their results.

The O-Shot (the "O" is for orgasm) is a non-surgical procedure that uses stem cells and growth factors from a woman's own blood, called platelet-rich plasma (PRP), to stimulate vaginal and clitoral rejuvenation. Dr. DuPéré uses PRP treatments to rejuvenate many other areas including the face, the scalp, post fat grafting and post laser resurfacing.

Candidates for the O-Shot

You may be a good candidate for the O-Shot if you have any of the following concerns:

  • Painful intercourse
  • Low libido
  • Difficulty or inability to reach orgasm
  • Urinary incontinence

Dr. DuPéré often combines this treatment with the G-Shot, and other nonsurgical vaginal rejevenation treatments such as diVa and diVaTyte for enhanced results.

How It Works

The O-Shot procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Dr. DuPéré then uses a centrifuge to extract the platelet-super-rich plasma. The clitoral area and vagina are numbed with a topical and local anesthetic. Then, using a very thin needle, the PRP is injected near the clitoris and into the wall of the vagina near the G-spot. When combined with the diVa laser vaginal treatment, which creates tiny micro-pores and subsequent tightening in the vaginal lining, the PRP can be spread over the treated area for quick and direct absorption without injections.

Patients often notice improvements right away because the G-spot is more pronounced; however, the full effect develops gradually as blood flow increases and tissue is rejuvenated. Most patients return for treatment once a year to maintain their improvements.
