Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)

This procedure can reshape the nose by reducing or increasing size, removing hump, refining or raising the tip or changing the shape of the bridge, narrowing span of nostrils, or changing angle between nose and upper lip. It may also relieve some breathing problems. Plastic surgeons usually recommend that patients wait until the nose has fully developed prior to considering a corrective procedure.

Rhinoplasty (Nose)

Two exemples of nasal surgery is showed here. A youthful and feminine nose is one that has a fine triangular tip, a good tip projection, narrow nostrils, a straight nasal bridge and a 105-115 degree angle between the lip and the nose. For males, that angle should be approximately 90 degrees and the nose should remain strong and masculine. Those pictures show an improvement in nasal profile with an osteotomy (bony work), a tip graft for a better projection and triangularization of the tip and a more feminine nasal-lip angle.
