We often think of an eyelift as a treatment that rejuvenates the eyes and erases that tired appearance that greets us in the mirror as we age. But an eyelift (or blepharoplasty for the technical types) does much more than change the appearance of your eyes.

Particularly, treating upper eyelid sagging can improve vision and your quality of life in general, according to a study in the December issue of Ophthalmology that focused on the functional indications for upper blepharoplasty.
